Present Simple: Statements
We use Present Simple for facts, habits, and things that are always true.
RULE
I / You / We / They + verb
He / She / It + verb-s
For most verbs, just add -s: work → works, like → likes. But watch → watches, go → goes (add -es).
EXAMPLES
- The Cat steals jewels at night.
- Natalie works at Starshine Studios.
- I like detective stories.
